The Church Environment Ministry – Altar Guild

The Altar Guild is comprised of 4 teams of volunteers responsible for cleaning the church and preparing the Altar for Sunday/Daily Masses. They are scheduled one Saturday morning a month for about two hours. Duties vary from cleaning the Altar, statues, confessional, working and vesting sacristies, and the narthex. In addition, they make sure the pews are polished, and collection envelopes are properly placed in the pew racks. Decorating the Church for Christmas and Easter is something they look forward to.
